Left On A Park Bench – The Art of Transforming Professional Life

I’m a business and life coach, and as I write that first sentence I realize it is woefully inefficient in helping to clarifying the work I do! What I can tell you is that I help people find their “way” through any number of personal and professional challenges.

My skill sets are unique, combining graduate level training and professional licensure in counseling with extensive management, marketing, and coaching expertise.

I have been a counselor in a variety of capacities and have served in management and director roles for several counseling practices and organizations.  In addition, I have worked as a consultant for Coopers & Lybrand, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Hay Group, IBM Global Services, and am currently the lead principle and co-founder of David P. Diana Marketing.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and my Masters Degree in Counseling from The George Washington University.

I am the author of the best selling book, “Marketing for the Mental Health Professional: An Innovative Guide for Practitioners” published by John Wiley & Sons, and am the founder of a popular weekly blog (click here to view) focusing on professional development ideas and marketing innovations.

In 2009, I was the recipient of the 40-Under-40 Award given by the Charleston Business Journal.  Each year, the Business Journal recognizes the most influential business professionals under forty years old in the Charleston, SC metro area.

I also serve on the Board of Life Management Center – a Charleston based non-profit providing testing and tutoring for children with learning disabilities, and I am the founder of Project Charleston (www.projectcharleston.com), which each year raises funds and provides marketing support for Charleston based non-profits.
